PowerClerk API
Minimize processing overhead and unlock the value of your data with programmatic access to PowerClerk.
Single Sign On (SSO)
SSO streamlines your utility customer experience and allows program users to use login credentials for PowerClerk, that were already created for other SSO utility services, for example to pay their monthly bill.
Transferring knowledge between a growing number of PowerClerk Program Designers and Administrators is an essential key ingredient to gain mastery in optimizing your Workflows, streamlining your Automations, and gaining a deeper understanding on how to effectively and efficiently create and maintain your interconnection programs using the full breadth of functionality PowerClerk offers.
Below we started gathering integration guides developed in cooperation with you to highlight aspects of PowerClerk and offer you a self-paced learning experience to deepen your knowledge of PowerClerk.
If you have yourself encountered a problem solution worth sharing with the entire PowerClerk community, please let us know and we will add and organize the experience you gained below.
INTEGRATION GUIDE 001: How to configure the ArcGIS Connector
Difficulty: Advanced.
Duration/Time Commitment: ~30 minutes.
Web Connectors (formerly called Standard Web Adapters) allow you to connect external resources to your program and retrieve data from systems outside of PowerClerk. The Web Connector is called when an action is performed within PowerClerk (e.g. a user clicks a button on a form) to trigger the transfer of data in other systems based on a status transition. Common examples of Web Connectors include: ArcGIS, CIS, etc. Use an ArcGIS Connector to sync PowerClerk data to maps and features within ArcGIS.
What you will learn in this integration guide:
- The difference between the two ArcGIS Connectors
- How to configure each Web Connector
- Setting up Automations to trigger each Web Connector
- ArcGIS Connector-specific FAQs
INTEGRATION GUIDE 002: How to configure Electric Power Research Institute’s (EPRI) DRIVE
Difficulty: Advanced.
Duration/Time Commitment: ~60 minutes.
Use DRIVE Connect to expedite the interconnection screening process, automate hosting capacity analysis, and produce tangible screening results that are useful to distribution planning engineers.
What you will learn in this integration guide:
- How to configure DRIVE Connect with PowerClerk Forms
- How to configure the PowerClerk Workflow to accept the DRIVE Connect integration
- Setting up Custom API IDs
- DRIVE Connect-specific FAQs
